Our Story
Poulfert is a family owned company based in Broadfields Christchurch which is owned and managed by Tracey and Marty Peoples who established the company in 2004 having originally purchased a litter and manure spreading business from well-known and respected Greenpark Dairy Farmer, Alistair Thomas.
The company predominately deals in chicken litter as an agricultural/horticultural fertiliser has expanded over the years to now be the preferred contractors for servicing the two broiler chicken growing companies throughout Canterbury, Tegel and Brinks Chickens.
The company have a team of experienced and trained staff operating our specialised machines for removing the product from the broiler sheds, operate bulk delivery truck and trailer units and our Poulfert spreaders.

Our Poulfert Fleet
Poulfert is delivered and spread using modern, high capacity tipper trucks and specialised spreader units designed for efficient on-farm application. Our fleet is specialised for handling Poulfert product and can operate on a variety of property types including dairy platform, support, cropping and horticulture. Spreading units use GPS-guided technology with Tabula to ensure precise, even coverage across paddocks, improving nutrient distribution and minimising waste. Our operators are experienced in working with local terrain and conditions, providing a reliable service that supports sustainable soil management throughout the region.
